Estherville Public Library helps to alleviate some of those curiosities by offering fun, free, family oriented activities such as the nocturnal petting zoo, puppet shows, Kirby the Kangaroo, weekly summer crafts and story time, to name a few. The library is such a wealth of knowledge as well as teaching my children responsibility of taking care of items that do not belong to them and being accountable for their library cards. I am so impressed with all the presenters that have entertained us at the Library, they do an excellent job with teaching, demonstrating and even answering some of the peculiar questions children have. I am proud of our Library, it's spacious, comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you to the Library staff for all you do in making our community educational and fun!" |

I travel a lot for work and these have been a lifesaver! I like the selection - the mix of older books and popular, new releases is great. Also, my son, who is three, absolutely loves going to the library! He really enjoys playing with the various games available and has really enjoyed Lego League. The library gives us a chance to try out 'new' books, without having to purchase and store them at home and I've learned what topics he really enjoys reading about. He enjoys getting different books every couple of weeks and we always go home and read them immediately!" |

The selection of audio books has improved with the selections being on CDs rather than tapes and the many new additions. My library accepts used magazines that are then offered to others who benefit from recycling. And now adding the ability to see a selection of magazines on line adds to the convenience of reading them without physically visiting the library. My library is always a pleasant place to visit with its relaxing environment. The many new activities and programs help to attract a wide range of community members, showing that it is more than just about checking out reading materials. I am a proud user of my library." |
